چکیده

The objects presented in synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) images are the products of joint actions ground and SAR sensors specific geospatial contexts. With accumulation massive time-domain data, scholars have opportunity to better understand ground-object targets sensor systems, providing some useful feedback for SAR-data processing. Aiming at normalized low-cost radiometric monitoring, this paper proposes a new hyper-pixel concept handling multi-pixel ensembles semantic targets. special study refers low-rise single-family residential areas, its radiation reference is highly stable time domain when other dimensions fixed. stability data can reach level 0.3 dB (1σ), as verified by multi-temporal from Sentinel-1. A comparison with tropical-rainforest availability possible variations radiation-intensity shifts Sentinel-1B ere experimentally monitored. In paper, effects seasonal climate relative geometrical states observed on intensity hyper-pixel’s investigated. This novel processing interpreting SAR-image data. proposed shown be multi-temporal-data observations monitoring has potential used cross-calibration, addition applications.

On a Special Class of Hyper-Permutahedra

Minkowski sums of simplices in Rn form an interesting class of polytopes that seem to emerge in various situations. In this paper we discuss the Minkowski sum of the simplices ∆k−1 in Rn where k and n are fixed, their flags and some of their face lattice structure. In particular, we derive a closed formula for their exponential generating flag function. These polytopes are simple, include both ...

Building Height Retrieval from Radiometric Parameters on Sar Images

Urban structure detection, in terms of both geometric and electromagnetic features, from a single Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image is, nowadays, an interesting still open challenge. Within this framework a new deterministic approach for the extraction of the height of an isolated building on a rough terrain is presented. The approach is based on a sound electromagnetic model which fully rep...

Radiometric Calibration of Sar Image Data

Recent advances in calibration techniques have made calibrated SAR images, in which the data represents radar cross-section (0') or normalized radar cross-section (0'0), a reality. In this paper, some of these recent advances are discussed in the context of their impact on SAR sys'tem design, and in terms of the errors associated with each technique. The main sources of error in radiometric cal...

Radiometric Issues in Adaptive Polarimetric Sar Tomography

Multibaseline (MB) SAR tomography (Tomo-SAR) is an advanced mode of SAR interferometry, allowing full 3D imaging of volumetric and layover scatterers along the azimuth, range and height dimensions. Recently, this technique has also been extended in a polarimetric sense (PolTomo-SAR), exploiting MB SAR data acquired with different polarization channels. In this way, the joint estimation is possi...
